| Mafuyu Hinasaki - Brother

Mafuyu is Miku's brother. After the mysterious death of their parents, he is the only family Miku has left. He wants to be a novelist eventually. Upon hearing that his mentor hasn't returned from doing research at the 'haunted' Himuro Mansion, Mafuyu himself goes to investigate, taking with him a special camera his mother left him & Miku disappearing as well.

| Junsei Takamine - Novelist/Mentor

Junsei is a friend and mentor to Mafuyu always giving him advice about his job. Formerly a best-selling novelist, Takamine has fallen on hard times professionally. Hoping to pen new bestseller, he comes upon research note about an ancient ritual performed by the Himuro family and journeys to the Himuro mansion, accompanied by Koji, his editor, and Tomoe, his assistant.

Koji is Takamine's editor and helped with preliminary research on the rituals. He tagged along in hopes for getting juicy details for his own horror magazine. The last anyone has heard from the trio was a report Koji sent concerning the visit to Himuro mansion to the editorial office.

| Miyuki Hinasaki - Mother

Miyuki is the mother of Mafuyu & Miku who possessed a strong spiritual sense herself.Like Miku, she spent her childhood as a social outcast. She was given an antique camera by her mother, Mikoto.
